Pips are the reward currency on The Desk. You collect them for engaging with FundYourFX and spend them on real trading perks.
How much is a pip worth?
- 100 pips = $1 (1 pip = $0.01).
- Your wallet always shows your pip balance with the dollar value next to it.
- Pips are never withdrawable as cash; see Can I withdraw pips?. They are only used for redeeming rewards.
How do I earn pips?
There are lots of ways. Common ones include:
- Follow us on social: Instagram, X, YouTube, Telegram (50 pips each).
- Join Discord (100) or join TraderWaves (300).
- 7-day login streak: 100 pips for logging in seven days.
- Complete your profile: 75 pips.
- Be active in the community chat: 10 pips per message, capped at 50/day and 150/week.
- Post Discord quality messages: 3 pips each, capped at 75/week.
- Share your payout: 300 pips.
- Refer a friend who becomes active: 500 pips (see the invite article).
- Cashback on every purchase: earn pips back on every challenge you buy (see the tiers article).
What are pending pips?
Some actions need proof (like a payout screenshot). Those pips show as pending in your wallet while our team checks them, then become available once approved. If something's declined, you'll see the reason and can usually resubmit.
Do pips expire?
Yes. Each batch of pips you earn expires exactly 60 days after it's earned. Every earn has its own fixed expiry date; staying active does not reset it, and it isn't tied to inactivity. We'll send you a warning email 7 days before a batch is due to expire.
