1. What is the leverage for all accounts?
All plans offer 1:100 leverage, regardless of account type or size.
2. Can I hold trades overnight and over the weekend?
Yes. Overnight and weekend holding is allowed.
3. Is news trading allowed?
Yes, with restrictions:
- No trades may be opened 5 minutes before or after high-impact news events.
- Existing trades may be held.
- A maximum of 2 soft breaches are allowed. Exceeding this results in an account breach.
4. Are Stop-Losses mandatory?
Yes.
- A Stop Loss must be placed within 3 minutes of opening any trade.
- Failing to place a Stop Loss results in a soft breach. Two violations result in an account breach.
5. Is High-Frequency Trading (HFT) allowed?
No. HFT is not permitted.
- You must hold any trade for a minimum of 60 seconds between opening and closing.
- Trades closed in under 60 seconds count as HFT.
- Two occurrences are allowed as soft breaches. Exceeding this results in an account breach.
6. What is the stacking/grid rule?
A maximum of 2 trades per instrument per direction are allowed.
- Defined as the same instrument + same direction.
- Exceeding this limit results in a hard breach.
- This applies to both evaluation and funded accounts.
7. Is copy trading allowed?
No. Copying other traders or signals is prohibited.
8. Are EAs and algorithmic strategies allowed?
Yes, with restrictions. The following strategies are prohibited:
- ❌ HFT (high-frequency trading)

All other EAs and algorithmic strategies are allowed as long as they follow the risk rules.

11. How are payouts paid and how long do they take?
- Payouts are made by bank transfer or crypto: BTC, ETH, USDT, or USDC.
- Payout requests follow the weekly or bi-weekly schedule for each programme; approved payouts are typically processed within 24 hours, with up to 5 business days allowed for verification or compliance review.
- The minimum payout is $150.
- There is no FundYourFX fee on payouts. Standard bank fees or blockchain network fees may still apply.
- Provide your bank details or wallet address when submitting the request.
12. What is the frequency of subsequent payouts?

13. Is there a profit cap?
No. There is no profit cap at any stage.
14. What is the 25% Payout Rule?
Your profit from any single trading day must not exceed 25% of your total accumulated profit. If your highest-profit day is above the 25% limit, your account will not be breached. You can continue trading until your total profit increases and your highest-profit day falls below the 25% threshold.
Once the 25% requirement is met, you can request a payout, provided all other payout requirements are also satisfied.
Example: If your highest-profit day is $2,500, your total accumulated profit must be more than $10,000 to meet the 25% requirement.
15. What is the difference between a soft breach and a hard breach?
- A soft breach is a minor rule violation that is tolerated up to 2 occurrences, for example, the Stop Loss timing rule, the 60-second HFT rule, or the news-timing rule. Exceeding the allowed number of soft breaches results in an account breach.
- A hard breach is an immediate account breach on a single occurrence, for example, exceeding the maximum drawdown or exceeding the stacking limit.
16. What happens if I breach an account? Can I retry?
- A breached account is deactivated and is no longer eligible for trading or profit sharing.
- You can start again with a new challenge. Free resets are available on some plans and to higher Desk tiers (see the tiers article).
17. Is KYC or a contract required?
Yes. Before your first payout, you must complete identity verification (KYC) and accept the Terms and Conditions that govern the program.
18. How does the Growth Plan work?
The account balance increases every 3 payouts, according to the trader’s plan.
