Am I an Employee or Contractor at FundYourFX?

Traders participating in FundYourFX programs act as independent contractors — not employees, partners, shareholders, or representatives of the company. Each trader operates independently and has no authority to enter into agreements, make representations, or assume obligations on behalf of FundYourFX.

What Does This Mean in Practice?

The legal relationship between the trader and FundYourFX is that of an independent contractor participating in a simulated proprietary trading program. By enrolling in one of our programs, you agree to the terms and conditions governing the use of our platform and the profit-sharing arrangement.

  • You are not entitled to employee benefits, wages, or protections
  • You trade independently using your own strategy and judgment
  • You are responsible for your own tax obligations on any profits received
  • FundYourFX does not direct how or when you trade
  • You may trade for other firms or manage your own accounts simultaneously

Are There Any Obligations on FundYourFX’s Side?

FundYourFX’s obligation is to provide access to the funded virtual trading environment and to pay out your profit share in accordance with the program rules. Beyond that, the relationship is purely performance-based — you trade, you profit, you get paid.

For full details on the legal terms governing the trader relationship, please refer to our Terms and Conditions.
